    Pros

PwC is an excellent company with very smart people working there. It is definitely one of the best companies for someone to start their career at.

They clearly invest in developing the people working there, and the skills one develops in terms of managing others are hard to beat anywhere else.

    Cons

As you move to the higher ranks, it can become political and bureaucratic, like many other large organizations. The path to partnership can take much longer than one expects.

I worked at PwC full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    - brand name
    - working with the best and brightest
    - great training and coaching opprtunities
    - build solid foundation to launch an accounting career

    Cons

    - underpay considerng the long hours and work weekends
    - elitst mentality
    - poor work life-balance
    - revolving door. Lack of long-term retention programs and career development opprtunities for those not interested in making partners

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to invest in people for longterm and fix the attrition to build a team of experienced accounting professionals. Under the existing model only the partners have solid experience and the rest are mostly young and inexerienced and just assing through.
