Pros

High growth, great people, mostly friendly environment. Have a highly differentiated product offering good for midsize companies. Marketing is getting better.

Cons

Poor sales management at the top level in the U.S. Hands off approach leads to not knowing what is going on at the critical levels of the organization.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop hiring and firing Presidents in the U.S. Live the culture you say you have. Seek out employee opinions and listen to them.

    Pros

    C'est une société jeune et dynamique, la charge de travail est lourde mais intéressante, j'ai un très bon manager qui soutient entièrement son équipe et est la pour nous aider lorsque nous avons besoin de lui. Les bénéfices est les activités en équipe son

    It is a young and dynamic company, workload is heavy but interesting, I have a very good manager who fully supports his team and is there to help us whenever you need him. Benefits and team activities are super and you get to travel to interesting places within Europe and elsewhere.

    Cons

    Presque tous les employés sont surchargés de travail, c'est pourquoi l'équilibre entre le travail et la vie personnelle peut être affecté si vous ne vous forcez pas à sortir du bureau à 18h. Même s'il existe des programmes d'entraînement officiels sur place, vous n'y accèderez probablement pas en raison de la charge de travail.

    Pretty much every employee is overloaded with work, therefore work life balance can get effected if you don't force yourself to leave the office at 6pm. Even if there are plans for formal training in place you may not get to go to them because of workload.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Continuez les choses bien comme les sommets annuels d'équipes et QlikAcadamy mais s'il-vous-plaît, assurez-vous de donner suffisamment de marge à chaque équipe afin qu'elles puissent faire leur travail sans faire de burnout.

    Keep doing the good things such as team/annual summits and QlikAcadamy but please make sure to give enough headcount to each team so they can perform their jobs without burning out.

    I have been working at Qlik full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    The product is second to none - simple, powerful and works as advertised.
    Great corporate culture - open & straightforward, move fast, challenge and take responsibility.
    CEO, COO, CTO and other older management actually live by these values.
    Vision executed to perfection - from startup to IPO to industry leader.

    Cons

    New management jumped on the the gravy train and only pay lip service to corporate values.
    Too many middle managers with randomly generated job titles justifying their existence creating unproductive work for others - endless powerpoint and meetings culture creeping in.
    Not enough perks or opportunities outside US or Europe - poorly run offices, unskilled sales teams,...
    Product vision unclear - all the focus is on one competitor

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Maintenance revenue is being ignored - hire sales teams to fill this gap.
    Take charge of HR and get rid of unproductive management and titles - what is a Senior Business Expert? How can someone teach other how to sell when they've never sold anything before?
    Embrace the changing customer buying models - subscription, cloud,...
