I worked at Raytheon
Pros – Job security, you can tranfer to many other location and they paid for grad school. they also have a really good six sigma program which looks great on your resume. the big name company helped with interviewing for other jobs. most of the young engineers started there and moved on to other positions or other plants within the company for higher salaries and positions.
Cons – not too many downsides, probably it's a larger company so you don't get to meet the higher ups. Also for them to pay for grad school you have to get a degree in something that directly relates to you field which limits you to what you can go to school with. with it being a large com
Advice to Senior Management – group and meet with all the engineers more often for all the different areas to trade ideas.
