Current Employee - Product Manager  in  New York, NY (US)
Current Employee - Product Manager in New York, NY (US)

    Pros

Fun, creative industry in the middle of New York City. Really nice working environment with smart, nice people. Large advertising campaigns.

    Cons

Revlon was in such a bad place financially, that they brought in finance people to straighten everything out. The financials have gotten so much better, but there are no marketing people at the top level. A brand-driven company should probably have some marketing input at the highest level...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Leadership is getting better all the time. As soon as the leaders trust what the workers are doing, the products will do even better.

    Pros

Great Autonomy, They really let you utilize your skills to be sucessful.

    Cons

Sometimes a disconnect between Marketing and retail ops and sales. This has led to some big failures.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Leadership works hard and many time they work with the hands tied due to a limited budget.
