I have been working at Salesforce.com full-time

Pros

- Friendly, smart, energetic, easy-going, and young people
- A culture that respects work/life balance
- A culture that promotes individual initiative and voice
- One of the best locations in SF for views (of the bay and Bay Bridge), walking-distance food, and happy hour
- Right next to a BART station (Landmark building)
- Great compensation, perks, and benefits

Cons

- No free lunches/dinners, like in some companies. Not really a "con" for me but for some people it might be. I prefer the vast array of real restaurants/food in the area over cafeteria food, but some prefer quantity/price (free) over quality so I thought I'd mention it.

    Pros

    Super smart people. Great clients. Interesting work. All the good perks plus above market pay.

    Cons

    Starting to get some big company bureaucracy. Politics in some groups is pretty intense. Lots of prep for seemingly small internal meetings.

    Try to keep the entrepreneurial vibe.

    Cons

    - Rapid growth brings forth concerns that the culture will change from being dynamic and exciting to becoming more regulated and corporate
    - May be too structured for some tastes
    - A lot of office politics involved with job advancement

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Keep staying focused on being the "Best Places to Work" list. Continue to increase transparency as company size grows. Spell out the actions that are being taken to let the employees know that their satisfaction and their feedback is being taken into consideration.
