Former Employee - Engineer in Victoria, BC (Canada)

I worked at Schneider Electric full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    The people!!! Experience and exposure

    Cons

Very slow compensation growth. Upper management has little appreciation for hard work, takes advantage of people's good will. Increasing responsibility does not link with increasing pay. If you are not part of inner circle, opportunities are limited. Have to 'tow the company line' of you won't fit in. Disappointing that location doesn't challenge implementation of company programs that have no substance

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay people what they are worth. Don't short change new grads in their compensation. Accountability is an issue, with poor performers allowed to float along. This hurts motivation in those who care and try.

    Recommends
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
