Pros

ability to work across North America from many offices
strong presence in multiple sectors and service lines
ability to be part of multi-disipline projects

Cons

some managers with misplaced focus on utilization of thier people over what is best for clients and the company

Advice to Management

management approach is still not consistent with the CEO's vision in all regions, need to identify managers that are just out to climb the ladder and not develop employees, quality services that will lead to organic growth

    Pros

The company is very diverse, so in the environmental/regulatory field there are a lot of opportunities to develop internal clients or clients from cross selling. I worked on a wide range of interesting projects.

    Cons

The balanced leadership model and flat management structure (inexperienced junior mangers supervising large numbers of professionals) creates some gaps which result in an environment where office politics and blame/finger pointing thrive and collaboration is absent. Managers (project and operational) are overvalued whereas technical expertise is undervalued. This results in brain drain, low morale/engagement of technical staff, and poor quality work.

    Advice to Management

Stop letting the bullies run the playground, get some fair supervision.
