    Pros

The product is amazing. It will and has changed the face of business intelligence. You can do so much with it.

    Cons

People are being promoted to management position that have no training on what makes a good manager. There is a lot of bullying by managers to employees. It happens and it is ignored.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen, the majority of the people in this company are fantastic. It's a great product and has the potential to be a great culture; however, you have to watch out for new managers being promoted as first time managers. Some of these people think that it is ok to bully their employees. They think that the hallmark of a good manager is to always have something "constructive" to be told to their employees no matter how well they are doing. But, let's say that even if there is always room for improvement (which there is), this can be communicated with respect, keeping your integrity, and in a way that fosters communication instead stifling sharing of ideas and collaboration among team members. You should not be afraid to approach your boss and have a conversation without having it devolve into an exercise in humiliating futility where they are too busy formulating a response without listening to what you bring to the table.

Pay attention. Look around at what's going on and put the right people in place to lead professionally and with respect. You have a great product so now get the great people in place.
