Great company, great culture- needs to pay more, better benefits, and vacation.

Executive Team Leader (Former Employee)
Chicago, IL (US)

I worked at Target full-time for more than 3 years

ProsAt the ETL level and above, Target is excellent at development, creating a "team work" environment, and being a fun place to work.

ConsHours and lifestyle, very poor vacation policy, inflexibility to transfer regions or cross-pyramid. Whereas I would note their pay is very competitive in comparison to other retailers, they should pay more. They demand higher standards than Walmart, they should pay a lot more for their talent.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Great Pay

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Target full-time for more than 10 years

Pros: Pay is competitive, tuition reimbursement for Team Leaders, 40 hour… Cons: Working weekends, but that is retail. It is required for Team Leaders to work two weekends a month. One opening and one closing.… Advice to Senior Management: People have lives outside of Target. Promote current Team Leaders with… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
