Former Employee – worked at Texas Instruments as an intern for less than a year
Pros – The people at Texas Instruments are very professional and good to work with. The employees are approachable, interested in your success and development, and opportunities to learn are many.
Cons – I hear that Texas Instruments, being a hi-tech company, will occasionally have layoff scares. I also hear that, perhaps a bit more than other companies (?), employees are expected to work very long hours.
Advice to Senior Management – Communication with supervisors is especially important early on in the job. But you already know that.
