I worked at The Buckle part-time for less than a year

Pros

the clothes and discount, that's it.

Cons

you literally badger people into trying on EVERYTHING! and you have the rule of 7. where you have to have 7 things/layers on. no one wears 4 tops!

Advice to ManagementAdvice

let sales people sell their own way. yes you have a selling model that works for some and may be a good starting point for those who have never sold before, but please just let peoples personalities do the selling.

I have been working at The Buckle full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

8-15% of net profit as a yearly bonus.
    Competitive annual salary.
    Ongoing training, quarterly.
Average district manager has 23 years of Buckle experience.
You can achieve whatever you want if you work hard and utilize the tools.

    Cons

As a manager your life is consumed by the store, you get little free time and you are always on call. We have a high turn over and it is hard to offer competitive pay in some markets.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give new managers a bigger boost into the community and more training in networking.
