Pros – You are able to serve kids who need mentors and advocates. There are many opportunities to work with at risk youth.

Cons – Management is arbitrary and capricious. There is little recognition and the working conditions are poor. The non profits are run by a for profit which is a bad situation. Raises are arbitrary, salary is about half that of other teachers or adminstrators and poor leaders are often left in charge because competant ones leave. Coorporate staff are out of the loop when it comes to day to day issue on the job and job performance of specific employees (good and bad)

Advice to Senior Management – Be aware of your employes strengths and value them.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
