Current Employee – been working at Thermo Fisher Scientific full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Positives include-Competitve pay, good benefits and lots of working capital. In addition, because of the size of the company there is good possibility to move around within the company.
Cons – Upper management is very difficult to "break into" from the lower ranks in the company. While there are examples of promotions to VP, the typical mode is to hire from the outside. There's alot of talk about growing/developing employees, but the reality is not there.
