Current Employee - Store Manager in Westchester, IL (US)

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Good base pay for management, excellent benefits, can make a lot of money through incentives, company cares about employees' opinions

    Cons

Too much division of leadership across regions generates inconsistent vision and values throughout the company. Very sales focused, which leads to a lot of cheating and unethical behaviors.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Revamp the incentive programs. There are many pieces that set up employees to either fail or cheat. Be careful not to reward cheaters, and allow them to set the bar for other employees, as that just creates more unethical behavior.

Current Employee - Bank Teller in Salt Lake City, UT (US)

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

There are a lot of benefits, like tution reimbursement, and discounts on cell phone service and insurance.

    Cons

If you're not a 9-5 (sometimes 6 or 7), this job is not for you. Also, if being in an office isn't you ideal job location, a bank is probably not where you should go.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There's a lot of managers that don't emphasize the ability employees have to move up in the company.

    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
