I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time

Pros

Lots of resources to help achieve goals.
Get used to re-orgs - 4 in the last 8 months.
Decent compensation package.

Cons

Some management is clueless (those mainly from legacy Wells Fargo). When you finally get a manager who knows the business, a re-org happens and you are back to square one and need to prove yourself all over again.

This is no different from any other large multinational company.

I worked at Wells Fargo as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

If you can find a team with a down to earth manager who leaves you to your work, it can be a decent place to work. Unfortunately those managers are difficult to find.

    Cons

Micromanagement is the name of the game here. Nothing is ever good enough for management. If your Quality Assurance scores are up but productivity is low, or vice versa, they focus on the "bad" score. There is no recognition for a job well done. Their temps are treated like crap. I watched one department fire temps over the flimsiest of reasons. The actual reasons those temps were fired is because they wouldn't suck up to the team's manager and they stood up for themselves. Or they made management look bad and management's egos couldn't take that. I watched the morale in some teams plummet because of their managers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop micromanaging, get over yourselves, and treat your team members and temps like human beings. Your job is to help the team members do their jobs, not put up road blocks and make them jump through hoops.
