Great internship program

UI Engineer - Intern (Former Employee)
Pleasanton, CA (US)

I worked at Workday as an intern

Pros- Interns get to do real work for the company
- Well paid
- Flexible start and end dates
- Flexible work hours
- Great learning experience
- Lots of other interns to hang out with
- Guest speakers helped me learn about other areas of the company

Cons- Mandatory intern events distracted from work
- It took several weeks before I was assigned to a project and become part of a Scrum team.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Get ready hard work....no rewards

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
Pleasanton, CA (US)

I worked at Workday full-time for more than a year

Pros: If you are an intern you get perks. If you are sales… Cons: Average/below market pay can only take your company so far. Unless you were in at the beginning, the iPo is not going to make… Advice to Senior Management: Ditch the bagels, offer better pay. No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
