    Pros

At Enterprise you have the chance to take your career any direction you want it to go. Everyone starts off at the same level and has a chance to take their career in any direction they want to go.

    Cons

The hours are long but they tell you that up front. If you are someone who is willing to work hard to have a better Oppurtunity down the road then you will do well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Those that don't do well often lack mentors that are able to guide them in the right direction. The training program is top notch. However, having great mentors will be the key to anyone's career sucess.

I have been working at Enterprise Rent-A-Car

    Pros

    Encouraging work environment.
    Challenging and highly educational work
Employees learn how to run a successful business
Enterprise looks like magical 24 carat golden dust on a resume.

    Cons

Work/Life balance = Almost non-existent...if you have no time management skills...and still could be much better even if you do.

    It's Not a 9-5 folks! Try 7:30am-6pm instead!...
I think the company is working hard to relieve it's employees by shifting and rotating them. As large as this company is, it does care about it's employees and it's customers. Are employees still replaceable? Yes...but only those who are collecting money without even putting in the minimum effort required.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The best managers that I've had were insanely cool, funny, goofy, relaxed, humble, and caring. They were still the boss without having to remind everyone of that every second...and I haven't seen that so frequently in companies besides Enterprise...not that they don't exist. My area manager and even the Regional VP takes phone calls, helps customers, and washes cars like an intern or management trainee would. It's admirable to see that because these are people who make six figures and are humble about it! Moreover, they lead by example...therefore anything they would ask of me is something I know that they would do themselves.
