    Pros

    Young and dynamic business with a great vision. Lots of opportunity to grow and develop your sales and business acumen. Career progression for anyone willing to put in the hard yards

    Cons

    Experian is a very political place with lots of layers of management. Sometimes it feels like moving mountains to close deals and work with new clients.

    Keep the young environment.

    I worked at Experian Marketing Services full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    Promote work hard play hard culture. Pay is award standard and employees have access to additional benefits, health and financial.

    Cons

    Dysfunctional knowledge Silos across organisation. No clear direction or leadership from Mid Managers, unrealistic product and pricing models. Focus to much on competitor behaviour and not on customer business.
    Big Brother Management is worse than a foreign call centre and all Sales KPI's are geared in favour of the company short term. Experian promote rivalry and competition within their work groups.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Improve Interdepartmental communication and remove Silo business operations. Have Mid-Managers with similar personal KPI targets and all staff. Remove the ridiculous Big brother monitoring of staff, its creepy and weird when you know you are being watched ALL THE TIME! Emails, phone calls, meetings.

    Pros

    There's still pockets of great people who work here but they are diminishing fast. Interesting technology challenges if you can get into the right area. A leader in a growth area.

    Cons

    A large corporation with tons of bureaucracy leading to nothing getting done and disengaged workforce. Some might have moral issues working here as they are quite literally big brother. Very poor retention rate in areas which tells you all you need to know.

    good individuals within the business.

    Cons

    - poor management from mid - senior
    - dishonest and insincere people management
    - massive amount of favoritism has people climb the ranks without any real experience.
    - constant lay offs and non-transparency from top down

    look at the overall context of your business vertical before looking at individual performance

    Pros

    Interesting technology. Almost scary to see how web usage is tracked. A lot of really dedicated people to work with. Benefits were good. I enjoyed seeing the various aspects of email marketing.

    Cons

    Too many tasks required more time than was scheduled for completion. No support from management when deadlines were unreasonable. The work/life balance seemed to not exist for many of the positions that I interacted with, as well as within my department. Management made some technology decisions that are not working out, and are hurting the brand.

    Email marketing is not a good match for the corporate brand.

    Pros

    There is a camaraderie of sorts among client services that can be pretty impelling. There's still a deep pool of knowledge and a strong drive go above and beyond to provide excellent service to our clients. Experian offers opportunities for those looking for them.

    Cons

    2014 was difficult as there was a lot of internal organizational restructuring that led to significant layoffs of the North American client services workforce. Change was fairly constant and decisions made by senior management seemed myopic at times.
