    Pros

Very helpful, flexible schedule, the only way to have a negative experience is if you just don't want to work! Opportunity to work from home.

    Cons

The cafeteria is only open until 4pm. Not a place for people who don't like repetition and change.

I have been working at Express Scripts

    Pros

Pay seems above average for the area.
Medical benefits have tanked recently (high premiums, high deductible, etc)
Dental and vision benefits are great
Retirement benefits are outstanding (1-1 match for first 6% in 401K, 100% vested immediately)
    5% discount on company stocks
Yearly bonuses are significant and vary depending on pay grade (low level employees don't get any)
    Parking is secure and abundant
    Easily accessed via I-70

    Cons

Tuition reimbursement hasn't increased in 4 years ($5500 a year)
Need more emphasis on career development
A lot of people complain of over work. You will work hard, and at the minimum, the full 40 hours a week
Recent inclusion of excessive contract workers has led to a lack of expert knowledge in the IT department

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I love our company values. They address exactly what is looked for in an employee no matter what level they're on.
The initial training is very comprehensive and the support you have from leadership during and after training will ensure that you DO NOT fail if you WANT to work here.

I have been working at Express Scripts full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Compensation is very good and the benefits are top notch. I earn more PTO than I use and have I accumulated several weeks. My manager is fair and is all in to make ESI a better place to work every day.

    Cons

Forecasting of work is inconsistent which makes it hard to know when extra work is coming in. Overtime could be required with little notice

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Work on evenly balancing work between the sites.

I have been working at Express Scripts full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Senior Leaders have taken feedback and are moving forward to make this a better place to work
    - Many benefits outside of the typical health benefits are provided
    - Countless opportunities to grow personally and professionally (training)
    - Room to grow and leaders willing to help you grow

    Cons

Large organizations often times find challenge in all of the processes getting in the way of doing the actual work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to take feedback and move forward as we are! Change is constant and supporting change and supporting your employees through change is critical.

I have been working at Express Scripts full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

I get a paycheck. I have benefits. I like most of the people I've worked with. Commute is good. Work from home sometimes is good.

    Cons

Senior management has no sense of what the right thing to do is. How can a company grow 'organically' when they don't know what quality customer service is? They love creating layers and layers of red tape for the employees to wade through.

I have been working at Express Scripts full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    -Benefits
-Wage (but this is not typical, I get paid more than other people in my department)
-My co-workers are like a second family

    Cons

    -Hours (too much overtime)
-Work life balance is horrible because of hours
    -Lots of stress!!
    -Leadership is questionable
-Hard to move up because there are SO many employees and lots of competition

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to communicate better. The solution for a heavy work load is not always more overtime. Too much overtime = stressed out employees = high turnover, mistakes, call-ins etc!! Find the root of the problem and fix it (hire more people before it turns into 3 years of constant overtime).
