    I worked at Forest Labs full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Forest provided a very in depth training program that helped you learn the products well. They were constantly looking at compensation policies and changing them to help you make more money and making sure they were as fair as possible. Great benefits, plenty of time off, plenty of sick days, company car, gas, cell phone, internet paid. A lot of new products and new products in the pipeline.

    Cons

    Some expectations were unrealistic. Policies were for the company as a whole and did not take into consideration how different the markets or different territories could be. Targets were assigned by a computer program or someone in an office who had no knowledge of the territory. Reporting seemed to always be delayed and not accurate as well.

    Pros

    They premote within the company and if you are ranked high you will get must jobs you apply for.

    Cons

    They had a stacked ranking that was not fair and that caused a lot of people to move on or get pushed out.

    Worked at the company for 10 plus years. Great people and great benefits.

    Cons

    Merged with another company and a lot of people were laid off.

    Pros

    At least the checks cleared and the health care benefits were ok.

    Cons

    Toxic management and culture. Complete lack of leadership. Lack of ethics and integrity. More focused on shareholder value than on the people making the place function.

    I worked at Forest Labs full-time

    Pros

    Forest labs took good care of its employees - benefits including pay, profit sharing, bonus etc and most importantly investment in the growth of employees by investing in training - both internal and seminar/specialized courses.

    Cons

    M&A posed typical challenges but it was managed reasonably well - but can always be improved.
