Cons – Challenging time with many layoffs in the recent past. Low morale.

Pros – Great science. Was a tight-knit team until fairly recently.

Cons – A group of individuals who all worked together before has been hired in, and has a very rigid view of the world and how it should operate. They are not open to alternate opinions and do not seek out or listen to (when offered unsolicited) the input of those who are not members of the "inner circle"

Advice to Senior Management – Work hard to develop a culture that values input of all employees, and is willing to have more flexibility of thoughts.
