    Pros

Colleagues are so friendly, teamwork, culture. I'm not sure if it's only my team.

    Cons

Salary, career development, work-life balance. Heavy workload, most of the time will need OT until late night. Early morning meeting. Career development are bad, hard to grow in a short period even your are smart and contribute a lot to the org.

    I worked at Intel Corporation

    Pros

Lots of opportunity for advancement, You will also have the opportunity to take you career in other directions from the place you started. In other words, you can start in IT, stay for 2 years and than go into a software development group or chip design and apply different skills that you may have. You will get lots of training.

    Cons

Work / Life balance is an issue, I know it was for me. I ended up spelling life "INTEL" and although I didn't, is a good way to burn out. Something to watch out for.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Training is important to stay current. Work / Life balance is also important. It helps keep the Intel employee divorce down and keeps the employee more positive.

I have been working at Intel Corporation as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

2 separate internships at different locations and teams. Both of them were very enjoyable and beneficial for my career. Worked with very helpful people. Work-life balance was pretty good for me. Good compensation and attention to employee health and ergonomics is amazing.

    Cons

This company is a huge machinery and it takes a while to get going. Publishing results in academic venues is a hassle. The number of meeting rooms is way less than the absurd number of meetings taking place every day. Cafeteria food isn't very good.

I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

lots of long-time industry experts. stable work environment and work-life balance. decent medical/dental/vision benefit. it is easy for individual contributors to transfer to different positions inside the company to gain comprehensive industry experience.

    Cons

Intel as a company is moving in slow pace and high level management don't come with good vision to steer the company. there are limited opportunity for new comer to move up inside. salary increases very slowly and as a company Intel couldn't compare favorably with other tech giants.

I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time

    Pros

Safe environment, challenging opportunities, encouraged to have a balance of work hard and play hard. Great compensation. Flexible time schedules for family when needed.

    Cons

Separation from the greater Intel has resulted in isolation from newer technologies and shared knowledge. Stagnated management personel. Most have been in their positions for greater than 10 yrs and have little concern for moving or taking chances for themselves or risk taking.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
