    Pros

Intuit's operating values, diverse culture, fabulous people, and challenging workload make this a great place to work. I highly recommend anyone serious about their career to explore the options available to them at Intuit

    Cons

Having moved from a 20 person company to an 8000 employee company, getting use to the volume of meetings, slow pace of change, and all of the extra red tape took some getting used to.

    Pros

I've worked for several companies but none that have come close to living their values and putting employees and customers first the way Intuit does. Lots of challenging work and great opportunities to learn and grow. Clear vision of what the organization is working to achieve. The best teams I've ever worked with.

    Cons

The work is interesting and challenging but at times can be difficult to maintain work-life balance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to keep the organization focused on the vision.

I have been working at Intuit as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

The company has a very conducive culture which offers growth and they have excellent perks.

    Cons

You might some times get into teams that are much less interesting and dull compared to others and that is a negative

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should try and assign teams to its employees that are more aligned to their strength and interests.

    Pros

Best Company I have worked with, Great Work Culture, Great Colleagues, Growing Technology, Good Benefits, Great Place to work , Supports Diversity.

    Cons

Huge Orgs and sometimes Frequent re-orgs so you have to be very adaptive in working with a new manager every couple of years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Similar UI experience across all products will make the customers WOW. No one seems to pay enough attention to how products sold by the same company have different interaction workflows and are confusing to the customer.

    Pros

great benefits, great pay, great people - one of the happiest place to work in USA. Great innovation culture. Cool tools for designing and entrepreneurship culture

    Cons

this happens not that often but certain products get priority over the other unless their benefit comes along. Layoffs take place everyyear

I worked at Intuit full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Smart people, challenging work and decent benefits. If you are lucky you may work directly with inspiring leaders directly.

    Cons

They have internal rules for Green card policy which is not at all in sync in with USCIS .In most cases, its a flat EB3 policy for all job titles unless you have a title "staff software engineer" ONLY.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change your immigration policy if you want to attract and retain smart talent. Your immigration policy is conservative , inaccurately interpreted and hurts more than helps.

    Pros

Pay was great. Benefits and bonuses were also great. Overall was very happy.

    Cons

Company is large and scattered. They try to allow different units to operate as a startup but struggle when you have to coordinate across business units to get stuff done.

Current Employee - Senior Product Manager in Mountain View, CA (US)

I have been working at Intuit full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great benefits -- health plans, salary, bonuses, RSUs, healthy lower-cost entrees in cafeterias. Great CEO. 10% time for innovation projects encourages out-of-the-box thinking on new solutions (but not driverless cars!).

    Cons

Company is trying to move from a company of companies to one Intuit and it's a hard transition. Layoffs, reorgs, speeches, and many powerpoint presentations don't make it easy to change. 401k match doesn't vest for two years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Managers are not checking in with employees on work/life balance. I didn't see improvement after the Annual Employee Survey. The company, and Brad, are great, but it's not cascading down.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be faster. Need to be more aggressive.
