ProsYou and your family fly for free

ConsThere is no overtime...ever. Not after 8 hours, not after 40 hours.

ProsYou can make your own schedule after bid

ConsYou or someone in your family has to be literally dying for you to get an emergency time off. That's if you don't have a tight connection or friendship with someone in management. But if you do, you can get a pass. If you don't, hell! No mercy what so ever!!

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease look into those that has been in the company for not too long. Those in there for years think they know it all and are playing the company dirty!!! Listen to those so called baby blues... The can see through the bull going on because they aren't poisoned yet...

Jetblue has been one massive disappointment after another.

I have been working at JetBlue full-time for more than 5 years

ProsDecent control of schedule, multiple east coast bases, travel benefits, motion on the seniority list is picking up due to others leaving for better employment.

ConsHealthcare is well below par, work rules and hourly pay are below average, the vacation system is broken, retirement is behind average, sick and personal time accrual is behind average, moral on the line is pretty poor, most conversations revolve around the poor compensation and work rules.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou constantly over promise and under deliver. Treat your long term employees better, they will take care of the customers better. They can also save the company time and money in fuel savings as well as raise NPS scores.

ProsFinding another job they really don't care about you, lots of people are upset about David

ConsThey just fired about 9 guys, one of witch has cancer, and only have months to live,
He is at Tampa General hospital
Say a pray for David he is going to need it, how do you fire someone that have cancer
They claim to care about people, well, if they can fire him, they really don't care about the customers, just fake smiles.

Advice to Senior ManagementJust do the right thing, which I know you will.To everyone that bitches about Jetblue you have no clue how good you have it. I have been with them for 12 years and it's been an amazing 12 years. They have always stuck by me and have done the right thing. It pisses me off that these whiners cry that their job sucks. Do us all a favor and leave because you're the one dragging this company down not the management. I watched my father go through 5 crappy airlines that didn't care about him. He would KILL to work for us but alas he's too old now. Ok I'm done with my rant. I highly recommend working at Jetblue.

ProsJetBlue Airways offers free flight benefits, yearly raises, flexible schedule. We also get other discounts to other companies that JetBlue partners with.

ConsJetblue is still a start up company and is still learning how they want to run the company. There is a lot of inconsistency between stations and employees

ConsManagement gets more hostile everyday

Advice to Senior Managementplease explain how Alaska who you say is in the sweet spot with us, can quadruple our profit with less planes and 15% higher costs. Tell us how you agreed to a pay review process and then broke your word. Tell us how you plan to attract any pilot with 15% under industry average wages, the worst health care in the industry and below average retirement.
