Former Employee – worked at Jiffy Lube part-time for more than a year
Pros – Fun, fast-paced working environment. As long as your team knows what they are doing the day goes by fast and can be fun. No experience needed to start out here, I started in high school and got 2 years of customer service experience out of it- learned a lot about car maintenance also.
Cons – The district manager I had didn't motivate, just said we better make the goals. The manager was excellent he knew exactly what needed to be done and could manage problems effectively. Wouldn't expect to grow much within the company- good job for high school - college. If you stay long enough you can get promoted but it won't be too exciting.
Advice to Senior Management – Find your stars and bring them to management. Be innovative don't just follow the numerous other quick-lube shops.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Pros – pretty much only work when theres cars in the shop free cofee
Cons – management lies about everything. Was told I would be given rises every three mounhts 1yr later I was told by the manager heartland is never giving anyone rises. The shop is fall apart no hot water and birds are living in the bays . No hot water for over 5moiths. And I work 8_7 with no lunch breaks
Advice to Senior Management – u get what u pay for. You want $9s an hour type employes dont get mad when they only give u $9 an hour work

Pros – Interesting and less social environment, Great for people that would like to work with minimal social(tho you still need to be a little) but primarily can work alone or in small team.
Cons – Upper(corporate) management need more critical thinking
Advice to Senior Management – More critical thinking would be the smartest move.

Pros – Good standardized training program. Good health insurance for mgmt
Cons – Treat you like garbage. Even store managers get treated like they are nothing and can be replaced within the hour.
Advice to Senior Management – Treat them as if you respect them. It has been proven if your team is behind you sales are greater than if they are only doing the job out of fear.

Former Employee – worked at Jiffy Lube full-time for less than a year
Pros – Learning environment, if you choose to learn as much as you can.
Cons – Quality of management.
Was hired full-time, but only got 30 hours most, then dropped to 20 and then before i quit was getting 12.
Advice to Senior Management – If you promise somebody full-time work, don't turn around and work them 20 or less hours a week. You're lucky i didn't sue your ass for that Allied Lube. (Franchise owner of Jiffy Lube in the area)

Pros – Profit sharing for mgmt, depending on store size and volume. Coworkers are good people. Some customers are very nice people, and you feel like you make long time friends.
Cons – Other customers are downright nasty. they have no idea how to treat people, and are extraordinarily rude. If you make any attempts to call them out, and just try to have them treat you like another member of the same planet, upper management finds out, and reacts before finding out all of the story. In this way, it is kind of a joke.
Other than this, for the technician level staff, theres no incentive to do well, other than keeping your job.
Advice to Senior Management – Be PROACTIVE rather than reactive. Either find a better way to pay your technicians, or incentivize them in some way.
