    Pros

    The company offers great Benefits, good beginner pay, gain a lot of experience, hours, they give inexperienced people a chance to build some experience in the manufacturing world.

    Cons

    Company has a lot of Backstabbing both from lower and upper employees. weak company structure, VERY hard to get the raises you deserve, always switching plant managers, you take the classes....don't get paid for them,and Most likely there won't be a job offered for it. Waste of time because it gets you nowhere and they aren't valid outside the company

    Cons

    The work pace can be a little slow if you are used to a fast paced environment. The designers there are very knowledgeable and experienced, may not be the best place for young designers first starting off.

    Pros

    Friendly and professional staff. Teams work to integrate new associates into the culture.There are opportunities for growth and development within the organization. In the near future with the change of leadership, hopefully the culture will shift to be less formal.

    Cons

    Kohler's compensation structure is one that is unique, complicated, and dictated by a quintile system. The quintiles can limit the compensation advancement of workers. Management is slow to act and move on critical issues. The Oz principle of accountability is stressed but management does not always hold their members accountable. Old and stuffy management style. Corporate office attire is strictly business professional and the atmosphere is "thick". The environment is not a cool and fun as the products we produce

    Hold associates accountable.Work on making Kohler to be an employer of choice for both professional, administrative, and manufacturing associates.

    Pros

    Kohler has allowed me to switch careers and still stay at Kohler. Note that I had to take the initiative, but for those who do, doors become open.

    Cons

    Capital appropriations require many approvals to proceed. The hiring process is VERY slow, as a number of approvals are required AFTER a candidate is verbally offered a position. Many manufacturing processes remain very manual. Many reporting processes remain Excel-based, or worse, paper based.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Continue implementing executive management systems, to make more transparent and real-time the reporting of metrics. Automate, automate, automate manufacturing processes.

    Management supports employee development and encourages thinking outside the box. Schedule can be flexible if needed. Salary and benefits are competitive for area.

    Cons

    Best to take new skills and training to another company. Little opportunity for internal promotion. Micromanagement of travel and spend. HR is ineffective regarding handling of employee/management differences.

    Empower your people and listen to their concerns. Lots of grumbling just below the surface.

    Free lunch daily
    Engaging with the heart
    Provide an outstanding guest experience
    Resort rewards
    Encouraged to visit and learn all areas of resort

    Gorgeous work environment

    Poor training....employees so busy
    Lack of empowerment
    Uneven workload
    Some employees so busy ....others not so much
    Lack of technology....housekeeping room status...should /could b virtual...lots of manual tedious tasks on room status management
    Unstable work hours
    The largest work load and multitask operation I have ever experienced in all my work history, with low pay.
