Former Employee - Workers Compensation Claims in Philadelphia, PA (US)

    Pros

The internship started with a two week training in Boston which was challenging and also very fun with lots of opportunity for social outings with coworkers.
Internship duties were challenging and I was given a lot of responsibility.
Liberty offered good seminar series, networking, and charity events with other interns.

    Cons

Although I was given real responsibility, it was often not enough work and could get dull at times even when I reached out to do more. Office was also a bit understaffed so coworkers were stressed and overworked.

Current Employee - Senior Business Analyst in Boston, MA (US)

    Pros

Dynamic team- Liberty Mutual is in the process of re-organizing personal insurance claims analytics, and along with that comes a ton of opportunities for projects with high exposure and impact. Any analyst will be met with challenges along the way, from data milling to model building. However, hard work always leads to high rewards, as salary and bonuses are second to none compared to other companies in the same industry

    Cons

Somewhat strict business formal dress code.
