Pros – Aggressive, open environment. Lots of technology to lay around with. Being part of Intel brings in its own advantage of money and technology. Lots of good development processes. The company hired a new SVP of quality who has introduced excellent processes to build quality into the products right from the early developmental stages.

Cons – Salary is slightly less compared to the market.
Having to prove to Intel money flow is tight and hiring in US is low. More hiring in India.

Cons – just ask around Cork, Ireland about the worst place to work.....

Cons – Hypocritical messages about employee empowerment (talk a lot but don't walk the talk).
Underlying sexism in culture - not overt but it's absolutely there
Can't get anything done
Way too much top down decision making

Advice to Senior Management – If you want the culture and results you say you do, behavior needs to change starting at the top. Employees are smarter than you think
