Was once great is now not

    Account Manager (Former Employee) Sydney

ProsGreat health benefits and some social activities Non management is great very nice people who stick together.

ConsHealth Benefits and social activities cover the fact that their management structure is terrible. They are a fight or flight company if you are not doing well get out training may help but human understanding is thrown out the window.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou need to stop micro managing your employees and start seeing them as people not numbers.

Great opportunities for advancement. Senior management more focused on bookings targets than profitability.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsExcellent compensation and benefits. Great opportunities for advancement. Poised to capture additional market share.

ConsSome antiquated back office systems make it very difficult to gain insight into the business. Surprising lack of focus on profitability and cash flow (bookings oriented). Matrix management causes lack of accountability and an inability for senior management to make decisions.

    Too many changes going on.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsNice facilities (gym, cafe, game room). Small enough of a company to know many people by name. Large enough that you're always meeting someone new. Lots of employee events are organized for their enjoyment and team building.

ConsToo many org changes recently have left people unsettled.

    Some great people, terrible leadership

Senior Manager (Current Employee) London, England (UK)

ProsGreat people, flexible working, good physical environment. Some good ideas coming if only they will get the chance to develop before being managed into oblivion.

ConsIncessant pointless reorganisation means you're always unsure whether you'll still be there next month. Anticipating the annual arbitrary staff reduction doesn't fill you with enthusiasm.

Advice to Senior ManagementPrune out the huge number of VPs SVPs Directors Managers that have no useful purpose and then stop reorganising.
