I worked at NBCUniversal
Pros – Great people. NBC hires very well.
They also train up well, grooming people for the next level.
Cons – They are beholden to their stock holders, which means some decisions may not make sense from a productivity, staffing or best practice standpoint, but it squeezes out a little more money and so gets done.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep hiring well, keep training well. Listen to your employees.

I worked at NBCUniversal full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Co-workers are nice, especially those who were there for a long, long time
Cons – Management level directly below CEO focus solely on themselves and have little regard for their employees. It's no longer the employee oriented place it used to be.
Advice to Senior Management – Encourage senior level managers to be more aware of all of their employees and not just the friends they poached from other firms. Become more of a team oriented company again, not one where executives approach their employees as "us and them"

I have been working at NBCUniversal full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – HR Benefits and company match are generous.

Advice to Senior Management – Shift economics from benefits to compensation for a more balanced value proposition. Management should consider stock compensation so employees are tied to company results.
