    Pros

Great people in middle management and workers.
    Good local product
Great new HQ in Dandenong South

    Cons

Because of a global merger there is a local cross over of roles and products
Top management is aloof and offers minimal communication

    Advice to Management

    Be locally dynamic

  2. Great group of people i work with. Management at the top is not so great.

    Pros

Like an extended family. Good scope for promotion of your face fits. Good working hours. Lots of overtime available if you want it.

    Cons

American company wants the Uk businesses to close and be in the US. Huge mistake as a lot of customers wont buy from the States.

    Advice to Management

Its not always about the dollar.

    Pros

The people are nice for the most part. Safety is a huge focus. If you love aquaculture, you will love this company.

    Cons

If you are uninterested in the products you most likely won't like it here. Pay is low. Over half the people don't know the products who should, which causes stress and problems overall. Lack of training programs. Still trying to get organized from Pentair buying out Aquatic Eco. Operations are chaotic with communication issues. Many tenured employees are still upset about Pentair coming in to take over. Software programs are low quality.

    Advice to Management

What would make our employees happy again?

    Pros

Bonus good for management. Great employees that have been there for years. Reasonable ideas and focus; unfortunately has no idea how to implement.

    Cons

Pay is very low for all levels. Embarrassing how low the pay is fir production employees. Mistakes are not acceptable..

    Advice to Management

Pay more and value your employees. Listen to them.

    Pros

Lots of opportunity if you are looking for it. Good benefits. Middle management and below are great to work with. Excellent company to start with.

    Cons

Revolving door at all levels. Lack of all foundational processes. Complete disconnect between management and the rest of the workforce.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to learn to understand the middle and bottom levels of the workforce. Simply saying "we want your input" and ignoring that input does not fair well when moving to a better culture.

    Pros

Free Gatorade and water to drink, free parking and any shift to choose from.

    Cons

Most hiring was done by on site temporary service. They get a lot of people in a group, give them some tests, picked the best ones and then pay them $9.50 an hour. A Billion $ Company can do better. No wonder the work force is in their 20"s.

    Advice to Management

Replace the ones at the top and get ready for unionization..................................

    Pros

Good coworkers, great work atmosphere, overtime available,

    Cons

Upper management needs to worry less about their job security and more about production. Not all changes are for the better.
Do NOT tick off the wrong person, you will not have a job! Too much politics is moving to the factory floor.

    Advice to Management

Look at your employees a little closer. There are people within the company who hold great knoweldge and you are not seeing it!
