I have been working at PwC full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – The junior staff are great before they are moulded into a robot
Cons – the bureaucracy is dreadful and some senior people are not held accountable for their bullying and bad decisions
Advice to Senior Management – be stronger about bullying

I worked at PwC full-time for more than a year
Pros – Good training, professional work environment, well-known customers. Arguably the best out of the big 4 accounting firms. Makes a genuine effort to make employees feel rewarded and tries to ensure that associates have the time to study for qualifications like the CA.
Cons – Long hours, some clients can be unnecessarily difficult. In the trenches (entry-level employees) there can be a culture of who-hates-their-job more and a lot of whining and complaining - people are still professional however (especially to the client) and get the job done.

I have been working at PwC full-time for less than a year
Pros – Some interesting projects to work on.
Some of the young grads make it fun, would be very boring if they weren't around.
Cons – Snr management does not understand the value of experienced hires.
Lots if unhappy staff which are only staying until a new opportunity comes along.
Promotion seems to be for those who just make the most money.
Only people what seem to matter are the partners.
Advice to Senior Management – Snr management should stop thinking about themselves and their financial target and start embracing staff.
Be honest at experienced hires interviews, lots of people get the same nonsense.
Snr management to top heavy, embrace lower grades and pay them a proper salaries.

I have been working at PwC full-time for more than a year
Pros – Networking with very clever people
Cons – Staff and partners are treated as if they are disposable - 2 partners and 2 directors I worked with have been terminated within 3 months; firm not concerned about the impact to the pipeline or staff morale
Partners and CLPs over-estimate the strength of their client relationships - I have been in meetings where the CLP has been openly mocked by the client
Pay is seriously low if spread across all hours worked
Jobs are often under quoted with staff expected to work extra unbillable hours
Advice to Senior Management – Stop kidding yourself. The recent change in leadership is not good for long term view of the firm.

I worked at PwC full-time for more than a year
Pros – networking, big organisation access to interesting clients
Cons – hypocrisy of partners ..infringements of SEC and ASIC indepepence rules not really taken that seriously....a young so called up and comming partner wasted a whole lot of time grooming a possible business partner Merchant bank in (apparent ?) ignorance of SEC independence rules..i.e you are not supposed to provide advisory type services to audit clients............
Advice to Senior Management – Dont politic and dont be hypocrites
