I worked at Red Lobster part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Able to make decent money as a server. Decent flexibility in scheduling except for holidays. Afternoon and evening/weekend shifts were a good time to work due to the volume of tables.

    Cons

There were frequent management changes. No benefits to speak of. As long as you are there to work hard for your tips it should be ok.

I have been working at Red Lobster

    Pros

Coworkers are great, guests are good, volume is good

    Cons

Executive management and directors are not engaged in the business. Are unrealistic in what they give us to work with the literally have an 80 20 rule that makes the dissemination of information even worse. It's really sad.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire executives that will make changes that need to be made. Lose the ones that still live in the shadows of darden. We have been private for 6 months and have made no changes and continues ly keep losing managers ... darden has had the new board for a month and have actually done real things to make the business work. Really red lobster really
