I have been working at Regions Financial full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Positive environment, plenty of opportunities for advancement, very good benefits. Plenty of time off, between banker holidays, sick days and volunteer days
Cons – Leader of the Pack in gouging customers for fees and implementing anti-customer policies
Advice to Senior Management – Develop a business model that does not involve fleecing customers. Rather than rely on small town captive markets, introduce some competive products to attract customers in larger markets

I worked at Regions Financial full-time for more than a year
Pros – Regions is an overall good place to work. I was promoted after just 8 short months. Nice management, enthusiatic team, and flexible schedule. They are quick to hire entry level individuals.
Cons – The pay is simply not enough for the workload, attitude of the customers, and job requirements of this position. Not much room to advance to management and they are quick to hire and fire.

I have been working at Regions Financial full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Great benefits for all aspects of employee's financial life. Time off is great with 11 vacation days, 10 holidays, and 12 sick days/ year starting out. Regions is very good about arranging a transfer if you need to move so they can retain your experience and training. Advanced technology makes working more efficient than working with a Community Bank.
Cons – Path for advancement is very unclear. The branch you work at and the opportunities (amount of customer traffic) make all the difference in how much money you will make and how long it will take to get promoted.
Advice to Senior Management – Stop setting unrealistic "stretch" goals that dishearten employees. Pay tellers more to reduce employee churn and create a more stable customer service environment. for customers. Increase bonuses for all employees when branch goals are met rather than just paying managers huge bonuses and hardly anything else to the rest of the staff who is otherwise very uncaring if goals are met since they receive very little compensation.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

I have been working at Regions Financial full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Bonuses if your goal is met; benefits
Cons – Sends you up to 50 miles away from normal branch location to relieve others for lunch and travel way back to your own branch location "ON YOUR OWN GAS"....But policy will not pay mileage unless you drive more than 50 miles one-way. Beware---They are fire happy. I've seen many people fired for small reasons. Stressful work environment. A lot of work for the pay.

I worked at Regions Financial full-time for more than a year
Pros – Get to leave at 4 pm. Bank Holidays. Inside look at Banking. Taught me a lot about personal finance.
Cons – No career advancement options. Complete disregard for you as a person. Little better than flipping burgers.
Advice to Senior Management – You are missing out on talent. Tellers would work harder if there was a career path and not just a dead end.

I worked at Regions Financial full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Always providing training opportunities, likes to identify and promote hard working employees, pay seems competitive, good benefits.
Cons – If you do not have a four year degree it is harder to be promoted.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep up the good work. If you prefer employees to have a degree provide a better tuition reimbursement program.

I have been working at Regions Financial full-time for more than a year
Pros – Benefits are really the only good thing I can come up with
Cons – The pay is way too low and not competitive with market standards at all. The goals are unattainable and upper management has employees competing and trying to step on each other just to try to make enough "points" as to not be berated on the daily conference calls.
Advice to Senior Management – Get your feet off the desk and off the golf course and open your eyes as to what you are doing to this bank! Customers get tired of the turn over and will find another bank that cares about their employees!
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
