I worked at Rite Aid part-time for more than a year
Pros – Fine for a first job. The part time hours worked well with other things I had in my schedule. Wage was adequate.
Cons – The shifts were a bit short. The customer service training was a bit lacking. Some employees sort of just ignored customer service.
Advice to Senior Management – Follow up with additional customer service training or check in with workers to make sure they're still doing it. Options for longer shifts might be good for some workers.

I have been working at Rite Aid full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Most of the associates are great and have really good ideas to share - on deaf ears.
Cons – The look the other way mentality is rampant and does a lot of damage. No work life balance. Because of the poor treatment of the management team the management turnover is very, very high in multiple departments.
Advice to Senior Management – None. The look the other way comes from higher up and is enforced by the senior management team.

I have been working at Rite Aid part-time for more than a year
Pros – They are good about working around my college schedule, and we are not open as late as most other pharmacies.
Cons – The shifts for a part time Pharmacy Tech tend to be short (4 to 6 hours), and I usually end up working every weekend unless I request off, but that probably has a lot to do with the restrictions I have from going to college all week.

I have been working at Rite Aid full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Good stepping stone to get a better job elsewhere. Good retirement plan.
Cons – Rite Aid does not recognize the talents of people or pay well unless you are Management. Depending on the manager a casher may get higher pay than a supervisor or PAC. And there is no union support for the workers from the union.
Advice to Senior Management – They should promote the good workers instead of hiring form outside, or promoting the bad workers.

I worked at Rite Aid part-time
Pros – Employee Discount
Only two of the shift supervisors had a high work ethic and went above and beyond the call of duty.
Cons – Impossible to move up
Second jobs are frowned upon
Upper management are clueless about what goes on in the store
Understaffed
Company spent more time stalking the employees then actually trying to prevent shop lifting
Advice to Senior Management – Hire or promote managers and shift supervisors that actually have leadership skills and work ethic instead of ones that spend the entire shift making phone calls to church friends or playing Sudoku.

I worked at Rite Aid full-time for more than 7 years

Cons – Work load way to heavy. Company micro-manages everything. To worried about getting fined for everything that they lose site of whats important.
Advice to Senior Management – Lighten the workload, ease up on expectations...more payroll

I worked at Rite Aid part-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Very easy work. Managers are easy to deal with and fair. Not very physical or labor intensive. Employee discount. Not a lot of corporate interference.
Cons – They pay system is based on the amount of hours you work and if you don not get a lot of hours raises don't come often. When they do, they are small.
Advice to Senior Management – Reward your good employees with good raises.
