    Pros

The travel is amazing and getting more time of then some other company's offer is great too. Plenty of room to advance your career within the company as they generally promote from within

    Cons

Long contracts of 7-9 months. Vacations can be short for the time spent away from home but that depends. Time off during contracts can be limited to half days only which really wears down your energy. Land bases directors can sometimes not be great assistance. Pay can be awful if on long cruises regardless of ship size or business.

    Advice to Management

Follow through with conference calls and call ins on an ongoing basis. The time wasted calling out from ship at set times to fitness directors or directors of operation to get no answer is unproductive and disheartening. Impliment a decent supplementary wage from cruises longer the 14 days regardless of ship size.

  2. Evil & heartless. Steiner will steal your and eat it for breakfast.

    Pros

SOME nice people management NOT included!!!

    Cons

Hours, Pay, Inexperienced upper management, poor leadership,

    Advice to Management

Train more and have more experience. Upper management has VERY POOR management skills and knowledge. Learn how to be human beings and treat your employees as such. Work with employees instead of against them. You are a billion dollar company you can afford better benefits for your workers. This company is a joke and has employees just walking out constantly over the amount of BS that they are forced to deal with. It's all about selling product and doing things that make the employees miserable. If you ask for anything that could enhance your life for the better they do the opposite just to spite you. This company is not worth the crap you have to deal with. It's the devil in disguise and they break the law a lot. Don't waste your time with this place it will negatively impact your life!!! No raises no matter how long you've worked there or how good of an employee you are. You have to switch positions in the company just to get more bs to deal with and another dollar. This company is sad and not worth anyone's time.

    Pros

    Cons

    Lies... long hours.. forced retailed..

    Advice to Management

The mangement of Steiner are the worst low life ever. They mistreat and use their employees to get revenue and sales.. they are disgustingly form of unethical modern day slavery if you are thinking about joining Steiner dont do it!! There is nothing about health and beauty other than the loads of makeup us employees are forced to wear. They should open Onboard Steiner Products shops instead of manipulaing great therapist in need of money and jobs into selling their products. Being there i jeopardized my own health by standing up 12 hrs promoting their supposed health.. felt my feet throbbing off poor circulation for standing up so many hours. If you have nothing to offer to people.. dont lie and cheat them out of their great lives!!!! There should be a stop to this ridiculous Company.. Spa is not what they make of it and Health certainly isnt as well. !!!!!

    Pros

very good way to see the world, meet a lot of people from different cultural backgrounds, good remuneration if you can sell products and yourself for treatment bookings

    Cons

very long hours of work, often 11 hour-12 hour days, five and a half days a week, selling is an integral part of the job and this will dictate if you succeed in the company not your skill at beauty hair or fitness

    Advice to Management

more frequent proactive reviews of individual staff to analysis potential candidates for promotion and also taking into account that staff who may not be able to sell a lot may still have great potential to lead a team. more information to staff and what it is to live and work on ships for steiner, positive and negatives...

    Pros

    -Discounts on products are offered

    Cons

    -nepotism
    -strict sales quota
-expected to do the workload of 2-3 people
    -untrustworthy work environment
-high employee turnover due to being understaffed

    Advice to Management

Work on training your employees to stay for the long-term. Avoid showing favoritism and laying off employees unjustly. Take responsibility for the actions of others instead of using employees as scapegoats.

         age groups

    Cons

Some of the cons with working for Steiner Leisure consist of the following:

    Advice to Management

There are just a few notes of advise I can give to upper management:

-Treat everyone with respect and dignity as everyone is from different cultures and
         backgrounds
       - Keep and open door policy
       - Go into all situations with an open mind
       - Always listen and stay objective

    Pros

I cannot recall any pros, except location and receiving some Disneyland benefits

    Cons

they rape you on salary and tips(none) . I have never felt more uncared for, underappreciated and devalued as an employee.

    Advice to Management

the employees make the company, not the product or ill-performed services. why would you make it so difficult in every turn for the employee. taking away tips, no shows, and benefits.
