Former Employee – worked at Syntel full-time for less than a year
Pros – Nothing much . People who cant do technology work like coding can survive easily by bootlicking the managers and can go to cleint site and then try to show off .
Cons – No pay increase and high level of internal politics The managers and all higher management are more interested in taking money to their own pockets.
Advice to Senior Management – Change all your policies, first identify resources who can really bring change to the company

Former Employee – worked at Syntel as a contractor for more than a year
Pros – Company policies were employee friendly
Cons – 1. Was always made to feel that we are not making any contribution and all my teammates too were often commented that "we are not earning our salaries". This is too negative a comment which disheartens and demotivates an employee to the core.
2. Contractual employment was very loosely handled. There was a colleague who had an appointment letter for 1 year and was told that her appointment approval was only for 6 months and this came as a surprise to her when there were only 2 weeks left.
Advice to Senior Management – There should be a mechanism to take anonymous feedback from every team about the managers. This will seriously help the company fight employee turnover.
