Current Employee – been working at T. Rowe Price full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – A decent package of benefits, an outstanding investment management firm, a bullet-proof reputation, tidy and attractive balance sheet, pro-client and pro-stockholder.
Cons – Most associates are on lease as short-term assets/long-term liabilities, does not encourage ownership except for a few select insiders, ultra-secretive regarding compensation, 'culture' can be passive-aggressive.
Advice to Senior Management – Treat more associates as owners and reward those who do good as you reward yourselves, and they will give the firm and their clients better ROI. Be more transparent, and respect the relative intelligence of your workforce. Live up to your well-earned reputation Internally, and transcend to become truly the most prized and appreciated investment management firm in the world.

Former Employee – worked at T. Rowe Price full-time for more than a year
Pros – T. Rowe is high on customer service. They grill it into employees constantly. They are very much into training. This was the best and most intensive training that I received in the industry.
Cons – They are very conservative from dress code to conduct. Take it seriously.
Advice to Senior Management – Relax on some of the outdated dress codes.

Current Employee – been working at T. Rowe Price
Pros – They are pretty flexible when it comes to time off and the 401k program is good.
Cons – There is little to no opportunity for advancement. They say that one of their focuses is on "attracting and retaining the best talent" but take few to no steps to do so. You are severely overworked and underpaid for the amount of work you do in this role. Our department has lost over 30 people in the last 6 months, and nearly all of them left for better opportunities elsewhere, like Aon or Fidelity. The caliber of new hire we see now is a lot worse than it used to be. Management needs to take some fairly significant steps to improve this job.

Former Employee – worked at T. Rowe Price
Pros – Benefits, the campus and its facilities.
Cons – Very compartmentalized, small amount of brown and black people, must play they game just to be given greater responsibilities. Group think, ultra conservative!!! $BB company ran like a mom and pop shop
Advice to Senior Management – Diversity and Inclusion are one of the companies key principles, please remember that! Place value in different ideas and opposing opinions.
