    Pros

As a company it's going through a lot of change, which is great for those who are consistently innovating. Within my own team I'm given autonomy, trusted to deliver and encouraged to develop new initiatives.

    Cons

With small teams it's sometimes difficult to strike a balance between the speed of delivery and the space to innovate. Although this is something that comes down to an individual to manage.

    Pros

Academy - We have any Academy for learning, development and future talent. The Academy gives everyone the skills they need to do their job well. It also offers programmes such as Inspire and the Managers Programme to enhance our skills. The future talent programmes are amazing. If offers work experience, internships, apprenticeships and career talks and events.

Benefits are very good. We have a GP on site as well as a gym, exercise studio. Bupa health care and dental plans etc.

Its a challenging place to work that is exciting.

You get back what you put in.

    Cons

Location for me is OK but I would have loved it if the offices were still in Canary Wharf

    Advice to Management

Stay focus on our business plan, vision and goals. Work together to make this happen as it will set us apart from our competitors.

    Pros

An exciting fast-paced environment, the Telegraph has very much embraced the digital evolution of the global newspaper, it strives to be ahead of the curve and is always looking for future talent to achieve this aim.

    Cons

It's a very dynamic media group, so the business is always changing and evolving in order to reflect its readership.

    Advice to Management

My experience of the management I've worked with has always been positive, encouraging me to strive for excellence.

    Pros

    Good brand to further career

    Cons

    Do not adopt change well.

    Advice to Management

Need to be willing to take more risks

    Pros

I work freelance on assignment outside the UK and my own opinions on how to pursue a story have always been respected by commissioning editors.

    Cons

Producing a story inevitably takes longer than the time for which commissioning editors are willing to pay.

    Advice to Management

Recognise that video stories with high production values do take time to edit. This extra time is often rewarded with a greater number of viewers.

    Pros

A decent CO builder and a reputable paper.

    Cons

Receiving my pay on time if at all was a massive hassle. As a company they don't seem to care much about their work force.

    Advice to Management

Sort the pay structure out and look after interns and new staff better.

    Pros

Strong brand, big potential to be interesting, great content.

    Cons

Endless cycles of organisational restructure, highly political, no long term strategy, lack of leadership, very aggressive and lack of focus

    Advice to Management

Stop the panic, focus on a long term vision and protect the talent pool.

    Pros

Good pension as everything favours the rich and old, good if your rich and happen to be related to the owners and need a visa.

    Cons

Pays 40% below the market rate for all jobs and the location Victoria is awful. No creativity or original thought.

    Advice to Management

Pay and invest in staff, stop the chronic nepotism and corrupt scratching of backs. Would be better ran as a democracy instead of smoke and mirrors.

    Pros

The brand on your CV will help you find your next career role. Since I have been working there had several job offers from competitors and digital companies.

    Cons

Old Fashion Management, Not yet near to become Digital, don't treat their employees right and lack of strong leadership that can take the newspaper to the next level.

    Advice to Management

Employ the right management people who can make a difference!!!!!!

    Pros

Central location. Strong brand recognition (in the UK only). Talented co-workers. Strong focus on growth. Strong emphasis on digital innovation.

    Cons

Highly political. High pressure environment. Impossible performance targets. Minimal communication from above on company plans and strategy. Ever-changing senior management - lack of consistent basis for future growth. Lack of diversity at senior levels.
