Pros – - Researchers at Waterloo are well-connected to the industries
- There are many interesting interdisciplinary research going on under different umbrella-like institutes
- Most of the people I meet and work with are actually interested by their work, some of them are super smart too!
Cons – - The physical environment is somewhat austere
- The town of Waterloo is not that interesting, if you are the sort of person who likes to do people-watching on the street
Advice to Senior Management – Please try to make the physical space as stimulating as the intellectual one
