I am so unbelievably frustrated. I’ve applied to over 300 jobs since May and have only had a handful of interviews from them. I had an interview at Macy’s a couple weeks ago and last week I got a verbal offer. It’s for a Counter Manager role in cosmetics… doesn’t pay much but makeup is a passion of mine so it’s something for now. They allegedly tried to send the offer letter email but it didn’t go through. Recently was told by my DM that my store will be closing been applying like crazy and so far I’ve hit all the big retailers target, Aldi, Macys etc. compensation wise right now I’m not making much just at $21.53 an hr. Been fighting with my DM to get some sort of raise but she isn’t budging. I was previously at 19.39 and hr and almost had to leave the company to get that extra. Company has also declared chapter 11 bankruptcy. So far Macys I’m just waiting on a call with the bp and I’ll be good
