Job Description

In conjunction with the Head of Recruiting and the Corporate Diversity Manager, this new role is responsible for developing & leading the effort to define, enhance, and implement the T. Rowe Price diversity strategy as it relates to identifying, attracting, and hiring women and diverse talent into the organization.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead effort to develop, enhance and maintain relationships with current and new diversity organizations and partnerships. Identify, evaluate, and present new recruitment sources that will generate quality, diverse and female applicants. Influence leaders in the business and associates at all levels to participate in programs, events, and champion our external relationships Partner with recruiters to implement new sources that will assist with enhancing candidate pipelines for current and future needs. Work closely with recruiting and the business to identify viable opportunities for qualified diverse candidates referred to T. Rowe Price. Identify and attend local and national diversity recruiting events. Ensure business partnership and involvement.
Build relationships with key senior level managers, Global Diversity and Inclusion, and GHR Partners to align initiatives, resources, processes, and tools to effectively recruit and hire high quality talent into the organization. Serve as liaison and partner with Womens Roundtable and Ethnic Diversity Roundtable to implement and support solutions related to recruitment initiatives. Provide industry foresight by recommending and implementing best practices & bringing innovative ideas to the organization. Educate recruiters and hiring managers on diversity trends, best practices, issues, etc. and influencing them on driving best practices into their business units.
Establish and maintain relationships with diverse universities including HBCUs, student diversity organizations, and faculty. Partner with recruiters to integrate into existing/new campus strategies. Conduct ongoing review of efforts and results against industry best practices & competitors.
Track and report on diversity staffing metrics, initiatives, and source effectiveness. Conduct analysis, assess results and identify areas of opportunity and change. Use this data to evaluate source effectiveness, progress and process improvements. Work with Global Human Resources and the business to develop recommended course of action.
Partner with Corporate Marketing to ensure diversity is a key component of our employment brand strategy. Assist in strategy development, creative process, and implementation of all associated diversity recruiting/employment related collateral and media.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred:
  • College degree and 6 years or related work experience, or Associate degree and 8 years related work experience, or High School diploma/equivalent and 10 years related work experience.
  • Demonstrated and proven track record of developing and implementing a firm-wide diversity recruitment strategy.
  • Successful experience managing long-term talent acquisition projects. Expert knowledge of (and experience in) talent acquisition techniques and best practices including all aspects of professional and entry level recruitment.
  • Project management skills, ability to work projects through conclusion and implementation through experience and a drive for results
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of required processes and laws for EEO compliance.
  • Strong leadership skills; must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and create and analyze data and understand results, patterns, and trends
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate across all levels of the organization

  • Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information appropriately.
