you get good full pay for sick holidays if its less than 7 days. more than 7 days you would need to provide evidence for sickness but still you will get a full pay if the evidence is accepted

It depends how you arrange your benefits. CTS gives you variety of insurance offer and other benefits like child care. It is upto individuals to use them.
A week or two of sick pay will be paid, chronic illness not covered to my knowledge
