In Australia, there are NO benefits and this is not an exaggeration. Everything has been stripped away by the awful global CEO. They try and tell us that annual leave is a benefit and not an legislative requirement. It's hilarious (if you don't laugh, you cry). The ONLY salary sacrifice is a car lease. Nothing else. The global CEO stopped handing out work mobile phones. Instead he calls it: Bring Your Own Device and you can only expense back reasonable work calls and not half of your plan. They give out equity but just enough do they can promote that they do. The amount of shares allocated is embarrassing!! So many of us felt like handing them back they were such an insult. Fruit in the kitchen has stopped, no stationery, you can't even get tissues. Next they'll be telling us they've cut the cleaners back and we have to clean the bathrooms. Oh, and the Sydney office is a disgrace. Things are always broken, e.g. taps, and take forever to get fixed. The company is cheap and stingy and yet it's performance has turned the corner. The global CEO is in it for himself and he will take his $51M a year salary meanwhile continuing to strip back everything from employees.
