Really supportive of workplace flexibility and progressing diversity. Clear on strategy. Instigating programs focusing on upskilling people across a number of capabilities.
You get 50% off any IAG insurance products (cars, home, travel etc), you also get BUPA corporate health insurance rates, plus if you are looking to shop for certain vehicles, or white goods etc you can get a discount, such as from The Good Guys for example.
A very flexible working envrionment and really great people to work with. The insurance disocunts are really good and they provide good support for parents returning to work including childcare during the school holidays for school age children
The flexibility available that IAG will look to provide if within reason.
- One day of volunteer leave - Some carer and emotional leave provided - Paternity leave is above average - some flexible work options - 20 days annual leave (legally mandated amount) - 50% employee discount on insurance products
The 50% off insurance discounts
Full time employees get 3% discount for BUPA medical insurance, but after considering what BUPA offers, it's not really of any value. Very frequent appreciation points that can be used to buy a lot of things. Obviously you have to be doing great to be appreciated. Super, by default is 13%. Employees have option to decrease it to 9.5% if they want to boost their immediate income. This depends on one's personal circumstances and the decision must be made after detailed financial deliberation.
My flexible working arrangement is great. It includes working from home one day a week. My manager has a good understanding of my personal situation and understands my flexibility requirements. This arrangement remains in place as long as I continue to prove myself.
Superannuation contribution of 13 very good. International transfer benefits competitive with market.
Good benefits but getting less
