‘Can cash out leaves if not used’
2 weeks of parental leave for males. Monday free pizza and Friday free drinks.
Best part private health cover
The benefits Iress provides are excellent. The only real downside is that they are prone to change providers for things like health insurance every 12-24 months and it can be confusing trying to keep up.
Many benefits working at Iress, flexible working location, health insurance, foundation opportunities & 3 days leave to participate in initiatives. Parental, school starters and sabbatical leave.
Subsidised health insurance is great, illness and injury income protection insurance is free and automatic. There's a high focus on parental leave (17 weeks full pay, 9 weeks half pay, 26 weeks unpaid for primary caregivers, and 4 weeks paid / 48 weeks unpaid for secondary caregivers) and school starters leave (8.5 days of leave for parents of children starting primary school). Unfortunately, employees who do not have young or any children are left out so I would prefer a fairer approach e.g. one additional week of paid leave for everyone.
discount on private health insurance, maternity/paternity leave, volunteering leave
Income protection, myki, sick leave, annual leave, etc
Good for parents and families but all in all fairly standard benefits for a company of its size.
