The company tries to cover all bases, 401k, travel perks, health insurance etc
Travel benefits with airline and affiliates in the travel industry
Comprehensive PPO that I chose covered my wife and son and I with a low deductible for just under $200 per month. It was handled by United Health Care and I never had any problems in dealing with them. There was no shortage of doctors and other caregivers that accepted this insurance. Now for the good stuff. As a full time employee you will fly for free ( stand by of course ) and so will your spouse/partner, children and your parents.
Pay is comparable to other airline pilot salary, profit sharing continues to be strong (11-15 percent)
Best is the travel and flexibility of being able to shift trade. Worst is wreck less management and pay isn't equivalent for the pressure and stress you have.
Best thing: Flight Benefits Worst thing: You're flying standby... so if flights get cancelled, paying passengers get priority and you could get stuck for DAYS.
Amazing company401 K matching and profit sharing has really added up over the years.
