As a casual, the union did an excellent job in ensuring that our best interests were met. My wage was very competitive compared to the industry standard and constantly increasing. Although, no extra benefits were offered.
As long as you give two weeks notice, paid holidays can be upfront or per regular roster. Discounts used to be much better, now they're only 5% instead of 10 - 15%
