Employee benefits team have a bunch of great discounts with major retailers. Also the banking benefits especially considering westpac's products compare quite well to the other banks.
Share, insurance benefits, bonus, birthday leave, well-being day etc.
Very good community and well done to them
As a contractor I am eligible to get retail discounts including travel/car hire, movie tickets. There are bank based perks such as credit card fee reductions etc. No real cons.
Tell us about things like company perks, private health insurance, pension, holidays, and time off. What is the best or worst thing about the benefits package at Westpac Group?*
Adequate sick leave an annual leave, decent retail discounts.
Packages vary and are suitable for employees in all stages of their professional and personal life. Continuous professional development focussed, with the added benefit of a work life balanced culture. Entropy focussed workplace, enabling a harmonious and effective professional team environment.
There are a wide range of discounts available from the many partner companies, however, very little in terms of banking and rate benefits.
Employee lending discounts are no better than what clients can negotiate for themselves.
I get many options to diversify my role with constant different roles to encourage career development constantly. Too many employees have far too many sickdays and this is because they treat many of their staff badly. Worst thing about benefits package - they are too few.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
