Hey all. I’m currently in a position where I’m interviewing for two roles at large tech companies (Anthropic and DoorDash). The role at Anthropic is not necessarily one that I see myself in long term, while the role at DoorDash is partnerships and strategy for a new product/segment they’re developing. My issue is I think Anthropic on my resume will help with my career in tech more, but the job at DoorDash is more in line with my goals. I really just need some advice as to which to prioritize.

Hi everyone, I just talked to a friend, who is working for Anthropic now, but worked for Google before...and well...it seems like work is all he does (from what he says)...he definitely enjoys it, but he seems to have no personal life, nothing else...from what I got...wondering whether to even apply for research there now...I do love my job, but these days, I'd also need my personal time...now I'm curious about what ppl think...worst case, this'll give Claude some more interesting content XD

      1. Focus on people, not things. It turns out, if there’s a three-word shorthand for the science of happiness: happiness is love. 2. It’s about you and your inner direction, not about how others see you. Social comparison and happiness are negatively correlated. 3. Make a happy journey your goal, too. Arriving at a destination doesn’t generally keep you joyous for long, so you need to enjoy the trip. To which he adds a fourth: 4. Stay flexible and be ready to find another way. Things change. AW

I was offered a promotion & I’m going to accept it tomorrow. I have been diagnosed with ADHD, late in life I was 30 now I’m 38. I have recently decided I couldn’t raw dog life anymore so they put me on adderall. Don’t know if I like it or not but not the point.. I need a planner, like the best planner ever created for someone with ADHD and not one that needs me to read an instruction manual in order to use it. I have ADHD that’s never going to happen. Any links, suggestions would be appreciated❤️

👀 going into 2026, wishing you all the peace and happiness you can handle. 💖 ~~My very German mother told me that happiness is a choice, not a result. She said that nothing will make me happy…until I choose to be happy~ ~~My therapist told me that no person will make me happy unless i ‘decide’ to be happy, and that happiness will not come ‘to’ me. It can only come ‘from’ me ~~ Aristotle reminded me that, “Happiness is a habit."💡

I'm in the loop at Anthropic and about to schedule my onsite. I'm feeling rusty and would like to schedule it as late as possible to give myself more time to prep. I've read the reports of Ant raising a new round at a $900B+ valuation. If right now Ant is still issuing RSUs at near the $380B valuation from February then it probably makes more sense for me to rush the process and see if I can squeeze in. Anyone know?

What are books & resouces you've found helpful? Mine: 1) Thom Hartmann's book "ADHD: A Hunter in a Farmer's World". The hypothesis is that ADHD was an evolutionary advantage to our ancestors and that's why it's so common. So in this society, folks with ADHD often struggle because this world is designed for linear "farmers" who are good at planning and using their executive functions. But in the right environment we can thrive!

Does anyone work remotely at @Anthropic? Even their job postings that say "remote friendly" also say the require 25% time in office. What does that requirement mean? Could you work from anywhere in the US and travel at Anthropic's expense for, say, 1 month out of every 4, or do you need to live near enough to an office to commute at your own expense 1-2 days/week?

      Ask A Recruiter - Healthcare

If your were an animal, what would you be and why? A recruiter once asked me this question during an interview, nothing prepared me for a question like that, but I answered by saying I'd have been an ant, because ants are disciplined, consistent and work well independently and they were all the qualities I possess. If a recruiter asked you that kind of question, how would you answer?

This is a long shot but is there anyone on here at Anthropic who would be willing to chat? Truly love Anthropic’s work and hoping to speak with someone about Strategy / Chief of Staff / GTM / Customer Success / Program Manager roles and what their recruiting process looked like. Thank you so much!
